Anytime you wish to stay here, Elona, the room is yours!
BTW, I also have a German renter in our other house in Bahia Asunción.

Congratulations on the new home. What beautiful place & location. Love the view!
(Be sure let us know when the whales start passing by offshore.)

It is a SHE, Elona.
Plus she has traveled alone thought most of the peninsula. Last month she had to make a trip to the US which she also drove alone round trip.
I am no longer surprised by all the Germans that chose to travel the length of the peninsula, with or without a family, plus I have spoken with at
least 15 motorcycle riders making the trip to Cabo on a BMW dual-sport motorcycle.

We have run into a large number of Europeans in Baja. They seem to be more curiou8s about the world that does the average American.

May I suggest an edit to your wonderful posting in German so that travelers may also visit in December, March and April. March and April are the
better months to visit if someone wants to see the cactus in full bloom. Feb, March are better to see the whales.

We were once on a whale watching boat in San Ignacio that was shared with a young German couple who had traveled to Argentina and then undertook a
motorcycle tour all the way to Vancouver. I'm embarrassed to say that they spoke more fluent Spanish than did I.

About 6 years ago, Jana and I ran into a German family in San Ignacio that was driving a rented van. They knew no Spanish and their English was pretty
Genglish.
So I ended up being their interpreter from German, to English to Spanish.
At the end of the day I did not know what my nationality was!

Udo,
first and foremost THANKS for the info you gave me by u2u.
Secondly ... your new house is awesome !
3rd. Sorry that I did not write earlier, but we are on the road most of the time. Having a long trip from CSL to Milwaukee to Seattle and now back.
And always some business at every spot. Lasted for 3+ month now.
About your German renter - Elona. Our friends in Mulege, which are no Nomads are Germans too. So maybe we can bring those folks together?
Do you speak German? B/c you said something about translating...
I for my part learned some German language through our friends as they speak English as well. And businesswise, we have a lot of business in Germany
going on.

So far we have met helpful people in the States and Baja California, too.
I learned English at school and traveling to the United States for 30 years. But in Germany I can barely speak English. Therefore, I have little
practice.
I think that only native speakers have no Accent and Genglish (we call it Denglish , because of Deutschland + english) sounds pretty nice.
Most Americans believe I 'm from Texas . People from Texas will definitely have
a terrible accent .
For 3 years I am trying to learn Spanish. You see, I try my best.

Hi,
I am not Udo's renter.
2015 we stayed one night in Mulege at Christian and Lenas (Casa Granada) house. Do you mean these people ?
It's great, that you are interested to learn the German language.

When the front yard and deck are finished so we can host a bunch of people.
We have the parking room, just no place to put 50-60 people. (plus food and drinks).

O.K., that was a mix-up then. So, Udo has a German renter and you as a friend, correct?
I talked to our German friends in Mulege briefly this morning. They know Christian and Lena/Casa Granada. But C an L are not in Mulege at this time
they said. They said most of the time C and L are gone and not running their B&B, but not very sure about that. We will be in Mulege about
Tuesday/Wednesday and of course visiting our friends. Great people! Some time ago my company was interested in their home which is for sale.
Nun denn, das wandern ist des muellers Lust!!!
Guten Tag.

That's correct. Udo is my Baja Nomad friend .
I believe, that living in Mulege is too boring for Christian and Lena.
After Odile most of the houses were destroyed and for sale. I like the playas of the Bahia Conception, but not Mulege. For me there are nicer places
in the Baja .
First of all we love hiking and exploring the southwest of the USA. Especially the canyons and colourful landscapes of the Colorado Plateau.

Having Udo and his wife Jana as a friend is easy. Udo is one of the best guys here in BN. Never unfriendly. Never using bad words. Always helpful. I
would call him one of the rare species called `Gentleman´.
There are not too many of his kind here in BajaNomad!
Unfortunately I never met Udo and Jana. But for a split moment we had the chance to meet. Back at the time when Udo was looking for a spot to build a
house, he had the idea of maybe selecting Mulege.
Back then I lived in Mulege and Udo had contact with our friends there.
About Christian and Lena. They selected a spot along the river for their home. And as everybody knows, the flooding along the river is s huge problem
for all dwellings there.
Just look at the Orchard. The entire row of homes along the river is gone - washed into the Sea of Cortez.
We all know that buying or building along the river is "peligro"! But overall, Mulege is still the nice little town so many people prefer to
live in.
No real crime. No (or just minor) break-ins. The nicest people in all of Baja for sure. In one word: A tropical paradise for couples or families.
Now something my friends gave me to write in German language.
In Mulege kann man noch zu Fuss einkaufen. Das ist ganz selten, weil man überall hinlaufen kann.
For the English folks: In Mulege it is possible to go shopping without a car. That is rare because one can walk to any shop on ones feet.
Have fun.
