You have accused ppl on this board of being bigoted and/or racist no less than 10 times in the last two weeks. You have also called ppl "queens"
multiple times.
You did it again in this thread which is about asking for help in taking my kids to Pismo Beach before they go back to school. And you brought up
slavery in this thread as well? Why?

Used to be several tow trucks & 4X4s waiting at the ramp going down to the beach, like vultures. We've seen many vehicles in the surf being
destroyed by waves. Ugly sight! Sand changes seasonally on the beaches and sometimes eats jeeps and dune buggies. JZ hope you have a safe and
uneventful journey.

Some people are miserable individuals whose only joy in life is to insult and berate others who don't suffer from the same affliction and dare to be
happy.
I don't think there is anything wrong with Goatboy that therapy and the proper medication couldn't help. Perhaps getting laid might help too.

It appears to me that these days some of the 4x4 clubs are on the beach weekends to help in recovery efforts. JZ, Jack's comments about changes in
the sand are good advice. As I mentioned earlier the sand on the south end of the camping area is very easy to get stuck in as the area between firm
and not so firm changes in a very short distance.
I just returned from my daily walk on the north end of the beach, as I mentioned in an earlier post vehicles are allowed to get on the beach there and
it allows family groups access right next to the no vehicles area. This morning was typical. Lots of people like Kathy and me on the beach for
exercise and dog walking, with leashes and scoops, a couple on horses and the Junior Lifeguard program with a large group. It is, I think, a good
example of what public access should be and I feel it is a great privilege to be able to enjoy it.
The North and South ends of the beach have different users and different access points so many of the stereotypes about the beach users are
inaccurate. Like others, I remember the old days when we could get on the beach from downtown Pismo and drive as far south as our vehicle and skills
would allow. Population increase and over use changed all that.
It was a lovely and nearly perfect morning on the beach.

Appreciate the advice Jack and Kurt. I'm definitely going to unload the Razor and scope out a spot.
My kid is bringing his Taco up. I'll have him run in front of me to pick a good line.
I've got a good snatch strap. But sure don't want to be using it.

Tides.....
I have not been on a southern CA beach since I was a kid, so I was curious about what kind of tide range you would be dealing with. Pismo Beach looks
like about a three or four feet....does that sound right?
The last time I was on my favorite beach in AK (south of Ninilchik/Deep Creek) it was about twenty four or five feet between the high and low tides.
You can understand why I put a lot of emphasis on checking the tide tables.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

Interesting tides on the day we are going up. Only 1 foot change from High to Low in the afternoon. Will try to arrive about 1pm.
