you can check out Zona Centro, Zona del Rio, Colonia Libertad, Colonia Postal, Colonia Cacho all close to the border and plenty of public transport, I live in Colonia Libertad I was born here been living here for 37 yrs never had any problems.

I have a 1+1 plus TV room with Ocean view, close to the beach, Kitchen and living room, Furniture and water included for $350. My son takes the bus from ensenada to the border for 8 bucks...

I found a good one


and within you budget, it's located on Colonia Cacho on Queretaro, Colonia Cacho was the first area described as high society when Tijuana was developing in the late 40's early 50's. That is were the Cetto family have theire homes and others like Miguel Gonzalez, from Mexicali Beer and other businesses, ex governor Roberto de la Madrid, etc. I'll show you arround. 1 bedroom,one bath, kitchen, living room. Close to everything and close to the border, plenty of public transportation and only 3 minutes from our house.
