Rained enough here in Bahia Asuncion with enough winde to come in a couple of windows last night that are under awnings. +

It is beautiful today and rained off and on on the way to San Hipolito and back. Few good mud puddles in the main road at the entrance to town. Looks like more to come.

Looking forward to the big swell. Waves in front are growing.

At 5:30 in Encinitas for about 30 seconds, there was some dime and nickel sized hail embedded in the thunderstorm. I was thinking about beginning to proceed to fret about my solar panel. A fair amount of lightening, wind and rain as well.

There were a few solid 8 foot(of swell) sets coming into Swarmies today, some face heights were more than double that. Very punchy, lotsa energy. impressive.

This is a still capture from a video clip taken with a point and shoot camera, taken today. Sorry for the poor quality. This was not one of the bigger sets to come in today. Nobody was on those to give it a size perspective.

weather in Baja Sur

We spent Monday and Tuesday in Los Barrilles, beautiful sunny days with very little wind. Traveled from Los Barrilles today to Loreto. Cloudy skies but no rain so far. Tomorrow we head from Loreto to Guerrero Negro and will keep you posted.

We got a total of at least 8 inches here in the sierra, 60 mph gust last night around 5-6 pm!!! Washed out part of our "road" pretty badly! Looks like I will have to do some work with the tractor and the blade! Hope this next one stays to the north! A fair bit of snow above 7000'

Bummer! I am out in the valley and no power loss, lightning or thunder here... But some heavy rain around 5:30-6:00 tonight. All calm and quiet now... Tomorrow's storm is supposed to be the bad boy with more tornados! Heck, it sells newspapers to say stuff like that!

I did see a pic of a Ford Explorer flipped on its side in Orange County from a twister... They should have got a Toyota!
