Yeah...I noticed that. We lived in Alhambra when I was born in South Gate.
I wonder if I'm entitled to Mexican citizenship for my birth place?

Queen of Angels Hospital, L.A., La Cresenta until 1958, spent summers at Estero Beach then, Mom and Dad built a home in Capo beach, lived there until
1967,Married in 68', North shore Oahu, back to Baja, back to Maui, then Kauai, and N. Cal.Bear Valley. After that it all gets kinda blurry...(tooo much
to put on this page but a lot of Juncalito after that (and beaches in between).Side note, First daughter born in Ensenada, 1968, second born on Oahu,
1971, third born here in San Clemente.I guess you can call me a Nomad....(BTW, same Dad for all 3!)
Happiness is just a Baja memory away...

Lol, yep! Lindo Lake. They used to race cars around it in the early 1900's. Speed record was supposedly broken there once. There used to be a daily
train out there from San Diego as well. It isn't just rednecks and racists! But I do like Alpine better.

Born Crystal North Dakota, Uff Da! Recall parents digging thru show bank to EXIT front door of farm house. Great place to be from.
Raised Santa Clara California when still prune orchards, age 13 first trip to Taco Truck, exchanged my Wonder Bread, balogna sandwich for Chili Verde,
never looked back. Bracero I worked with thought it a fair trade.
Prep School Oakland, snuck out of dorm on Sunday nights to play sax in holy roller band, those folks knew how to rock! the Lutes, not so much.
Blue Fox for New Years Eve at age 17, won a six pack of Tecate in a dance contest, we rode the 250cc Ducati Diana Road Racer to Estero Beach the night
after that. Discovered Tequila. Learned there are many ways to live.
SF Bay area in the 60's, do recall some of it, Electric Koolaide Acid Test, Jerry Garcia, Janice etc.
Now live a subdued, boring, banal, mundane, life in a suburb of Portland, Oregon
Currently on the road in Baja.
