I do the driving, the Mrs. handles the music...

She is a big VALLENATO and SALSA fan. I still listen to early '80s UK Punk and Israeli PsyTrance. The Salsa/Vallento both win out everytime.LOL

I'm unfamiliar with Mark Mulligan, but he gets a lot for his CD's...around 25 bucks.
To make matters worse, Amazon doesn't include sound samples of his songs.
Maybe I'll take a chance on his "Best Of...." if he has one.

For driving through Ensenada...lots of Sublime. If the traffic is bad then its Dead Kennedys.

After that...John Hiatt, Stones, Steve Earle, Tom Petty, Dead.

And Mexican radio.

Spearo,

If you have HBO check out the series Treme. It is set in New Orleans and have had both John Hiatt and Steve Earle on. Steve Earle actually is a character in the series. Great show for music lovers.
