These are campers over the years. Baja rigs to lay your head down and have a private bathroom, something Co-pilot insists on. Off-roading is
something else.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

I have camped in everything from a used Army Pup tent to a 36ft diesel pusher my current rig is a 36ft 5th wheel with 3 slide outs. Roughing it for
me is when I have to stay in a Holiday inn without a Swimming Pool.

An old one, high centered on the more inland of the North road to San Juanico, 1995 on the way to Central America. I have a Tacoma now but have taken
a '69 beetle, Mazda 4wd mini van, 1983 528 BMW and a Subaru down there too.

The latest one now has Tundra front brakes, steel braided brake lines and some heavier duty springs front and rear. Only coastal shot I could find
that doesn't show a decent surf spot....

If you just would have dropped your air pressure... no digging and drive right out! 10 psi was the sweet spot on those little 13" tires!

Here is my wife Jana's rig.
The 2012 FJ is fully loaded with thing to take to our place in Bahia Asuncion.
This is one parking spot that most of you will recognize.
The rear end of the FJ. We needed a ladder mounted on the FJ because we use the roof rack a lot.
The winch and high power LED lights.

David: I ran those tires down to 10psi at times. That wasn't the problem here, we were high centered in this photo. I made a mistake avoiding a rock
and fell into the deep tracks. Took an hour jacking and rock moving to get out.

The FJ has some FOX shock already...
However, in studying the photo, the suspension looks intriguing. Where can something like that be done, and how much?
