I love fireworks....always have. Now that I know Mr bill hates them I love them even more.

Gato...I sure do miss being down there full time.......sigh.

9 years was a good run, the place has changed quite a bit.

back in early 2002 I started telling a story about one such atomic fireball we did in Baja years earilier....I got to part 3 and was asked to please not finish the story by the parties involved....something about the truckloads of army guys, marines and a small battleship dispatched off our coast after the party still has them a bit spooked.

Here are links to all three posts.....someday I will finish it and tell the full story.

Part I

Part II

Part III

Clearly, this post (and the story it links to) trumps any earlier discussion of silly partiers shooting off bottle rockets and cherry bombs. Fans of fireworks (like me) would be awed by such a fantastic display and the naysayers would hopefully be struck dumb for a while. Sounds like an excellent birthday!

Please please please post Part 4  :o

I will need to ask the people involved if it would be ok now. It has been close to 10 years since the events transpired.

There is enough info in the story to easily identify the folks involved and I have to respect their wishes. If you live in the area you know who they are and you should just drop by for the full story....bring a ballena.
