Granted the twins have not been on fire but Thomas is due for a bad game (well...I doubt "bad"...hell, three goals would be a disaster the way he is playing) and the home team...and the crowd...and hopefully karma.

The Bruins have pss-d me off so many times during the years but then I think of Terry O'Reilly and how much I loved watching him play. Danny Maloney of the Kings once destroyed him in a fight...I mean DESTROYED him and O'Reilly came back again for seconds a bit later and Maloney DESTROYED him again...and Terry kept coming on.

I'll be rooting for the Canucks but I guess the world will still spin on its axis and the winds will still howl on the Cortez if the Bruins win.

Got a new 46" TV just in time for game 7. Shari, you can come over so you don't have to squint (only about 1200 miles to my house)! Go Canucks!

Off to the local pub tonight, The Fisherman's, to watch with total anxiety the end of this ride. I am not even a hockey fan but this has swept even the most cynical of us onto the rollercoaster.
I shall only drink Corona or DosX tonight to keep my thoughts clearly on my true love, Baja.

Getting ready to celebrate a loss! Nothing like a "what might of been" party to keep the music playing an old sad song all night long.

Congrats Bruins and sorry for all of you who lost bets but my guess would be that any true Bruins fan will let you off the hook...AFTER you buy the first round.

Congratulations to the Boston Bruins.

I am so embarrassed with the few hula-gens here in Vancouver. A beautiful city with a very large black eye this morning. Why do people act like this. :fire:
Riots and burning cars in the street is not how a civil society acts.
Thanks for this post Shari it was a blast. So sorry I wont be bringing the Stanley Cup down to the Baja this year. Life goes on and the sun will rise in the east once again today.

Whoa Nelly! Vancouver is one of the most tranquil places I have ever visited. Surprise!
