There is the bigotry you were previously denying. You would do better to not make remarks like that.

And you associated his stupidity with his membership in the Democratic party implying all Democrats are stupid.

You're a political bigot. Stop it.

LOOK... the ocean sea level is way down there... The photo shows EROSION! Storm-driven waves and natural sand movement that has little to do with the subject of rising sea levels.

Erosion where there has never been erosion before. You can hide from reality but it is still there.

rts555-------the continents are constantly being eroded away, and have been for eons. Look at the La Jolla cliffs, Point Loma---------etc.etc.etc.

But, I admit I am a "bigot" when it comes to many Liberal/Progressive ideas due to many of their policies which are well-meaning but simply wrong-headed, IMO, and over-reactive to legit problems, but which often tends to compound those problems and makes them worse.

Just my bigoted opinion, of course.

There was a part in Gone with the Wind when Charlotte said something like, "I was 16 before I learned that 'damn' and 'Yankee' were two separate words!"

The stupidest, dumb stuff comes out of the mouths of "these" politicians! (There, I substituted in "these" so you are not offended). I was talking about that one politician that ANOTHER NOMAD gave the video link to, not any Nomads.

The only proof I've seen is the pictures DK posted and many of you don't believe it.

Many of us don't consider that to be proof of anything. What do think about this?

I found this interesting:
["Previous studies examining the risk of coastal inundation in the Pacific region have found that islands can actually keep pace with sea-level riseand sometimes even expand."]

You can do all you want with taxpayers hard earned dollars but the earth's climate will continue to change as it always has. When the sea level does rise (again) and we are still here then we will either need to adapt or buy a houseboat.
