Thanks for all the well wishes - they are deeply appreciated.

Dennis - it is me posting. Call it a mix of hardheadedness and German roots but here I am.

Thank you for saving Kathleen and me another trip to Ensenada! Seriously, glad to see you're both out and about. Let us know when you're passing through Ensenada on your way home; we'll puree a few tacos for you.

Ron, we are so relieved to know that you and your wife are on the road to recovery! Judging by this thread, your kindness has obviously touched many people, including me... Wishing you and Cristina are soon able to return to the life and home you both love!!!

Wow...I've been away from the board for a while and was horrified to hear of this, but amazed when the story unfolded how everyone pulled together to help.

I'm so glad Mr. & Mrs. Bajagringo are on the road to recovery and proud to call you amigos.....even if we've never met.

Ron,

I'm so glad your recovering quickly. You gave us all a scare! We met only recently at the Mike Younghusband Powerpoint Presentation and wish I had more time that evening to swap stories with you.

This is my first reply on this post. I have read it in it's entirety as it unfolded and was too angry to participate in this discussion. I cannot imagine what you went through and I'm happy you are still with us.

Know that there is a lot of love on this board directed to you and your wife.

Chuck

Welcome back to the world, Ron y Cristina. We missed ya.

Ron, I have a great idea for your new diet...

"Avacado/Cheesecake Pudding!"

Well, if that doesn't turn you on..I have a friend who suggests this:

Which will it be?

Relieved to here you got your jaw wired up. Both of you take your time getting back to your normal life, enjoy a little pampering from the family. You two certainly had us all worried for you.

just a thought.....................

(I'm sure they'll give you a straw for their cabbage soup at the Woolgrower's)

Hope it makes more sense after the delayed spellcheck. Ron knows what I'm talking about despite the sloppy writing. (Woolgrowers is a Basque restaurant in Bakersfield, the soups are always excellent)
