Don't go the black or white route here. I suspect that their are few, very few dog haters. The problem, from my perspective is that a sizeable
percentage of the population is allergic to pet dander, which includes dogs. I, for one am allergic. I live in a situation involving a cat that was
the pet of a long departed relative. Beautiful creature. Could never put her down, or give her away, as she has spent a decade in the environment she
knows. But, geez, I find myself having to adjust my lifestyle and use medications I would not need, just to allow the cat to enjoy her life. This
beautiful critter will obviously never understand my sacrifice, but what else could I do? That being said, when I travel, I really appreciate finding
hotels that can assure me I won't be stricken with asthma in the middle of the night.

The Baja Cactus Motel has a very professional staff and Antonio has trained them on the most modern cleaning techniques used by hotels.
If you find anything other than a perfectly clean and odor free room, Antonio would want you to contact him. Please note the date and room number so
the proper action can be taken.
In all the times I have stayed there since 2004, I have never had any cleaning issues to report. As with any motel, noise made by inconsiderate guests
is beyond his control and we always try and get an upstairs room to have as much quiet as possible.
The success of Antonio's efforts is pretty clear when we find Baja Cactus filled up most trips... Southbound, the new Turista Motel, 2.2 miles away is
the alternate and northbound, the Jardines Motel, 34 miles north.

On a side note: If your staying at Baja Cactus check out one of the unique eco-attractions near El Rosario. A collapsed sea cave known as La Lobera,
a sea lion haunt, one of its kind to be on this side of the coast, 3 miles from Highway 1, about 6 miles north of El Rosario.

Each trip since 2005 they said yes... "in a few months" (maņana)... I think that idea disolved with the lack of tourism and the delay of development
of the Diamante Del Mar Golf Resort, next door. It was going to be unique in that they were going to raise the seafood they were to cook, right there,
on site.
