ps A few from Long Beach I see now. Bill Collector, where did you grow up and go to school. We're neighbors again south in the Baja! Some curious migrations. Why would anybody leave Laguna Beach except for Sun Valley or Baja?:o East Detroit, omg. Goes to show, we don't get to choose our family or where they live!:o Tio

small world some times,, I have alot of fond memories growing up in Long Beach,

Bajagringo (ron) is from Long Beach also, grew up just a short distance from me,, never met him
guess I dont like big cities any more I havnt been back to Long Beach in years, the last time was when I had to move my grandmother out of her home that she had on Signal Hill.

Butte, MT in 1937. Went through elementry school with Bobby (Evil) Knivel. It was a 100% underground copper mining town with open gambling and prostitution. Lived there until my parents had the good sense to move to San Diego when I was 14, and still to young to appreciate the special ammnities of Butte :lol:

Wheelus AFB in Tripoli, Libya, 1961. The base hospital was later converted to one of Gaddafi's palaces and we (US) bombed it in 1986, which resulted in the death of one of his daughters. Remember that?

born 45 mintues south of Detroit and glad I was...I wouldnt have missed the Motown influence for nothin...we got soul!!!
We spent weekend in Detroit with relatives, my tio was a cop there...tough dude.

born in Chatham Ontario...that's canada ya know...known for Libby's canned veggies, home of Fergie Jenkins...loved skating to school and sailing on the lakes....but moved to the west coast of B.C. when I was 19.
