i'll start with a brief summary and leave it to others to fill in the details and add pictures. BajaWarrior led 31 vehicles and I ran sweep for a very enjoyable day in the desert. Unbelievably, there were no break-downs, not even one flat tire. Most everyone hiked up to the falls in Cajon Canyon. We then exited Valle Chico and proceeded to Blowin Smoke for c-cktails and a wonderful BBQ dinner. It was a great trip with no incidents.

Good update Rob.

It's a bummer there were no breakdowns or incidents. It's those incidents that expose people's vulnerabilities and weaknesses and others' strengths and virtues to develop unforgettable camaraderie. Those weaknesses are then overcome and the virtues extolled.

Thanks Art

What you say is correct but as the sweeper I would have had to deal with any and all incidents. As it was, I had a very easy day for which I am grateful.

I think this will work... 31 vehicles. Yep, it worked. My step son Geoff took these photos and stiched it together, more to follow. This was our first "leaker stop" at the spot where the Huatamote and Chanate Arroyos split. Commonly referred to as "Rock Pile" which is 15 miles into the ride.

That's a real cool photo (or bunch of photos stitched together)!

Nice job with the photos Chuck and Chris!

Looks like Quartz Mountain, The tip of Diablo Mtn., El Cajon canyon, and a baby bighorn, too!

One thing I forgot was to thank Lee and Linda at Blowin' Smoke BBQ for opening up their restaraunt on a Sunday just for us. I'm not sure of the count of people but I'll bet we were all of 40+. Also, I forgot to get some pictures except a few near the end, it had been a long day, sorry. Try the food sometime when passing through San Felipe (10 North of town on East side of Highway)

Thanks again Blowin' Smoke for some great food and drink!

Edit for this photo below, we brought furniture into Baja, went into Declaration, they didn't even want to talk about it and sent us on our way. Everyone knows you can't bring furniture into Baja!! In fact they only wanted to see the registration on the ATV which of course we had. In and out in 3 minutes.
