Hard concept for some to understand, apparently.

Here's the deal,

1.

I and a hundred million others did adjust their behavior tremendously for the "common good."

We just didn't do it as much as "you" and Skipjack demand

2.

You are a retiree with a set income stream. This means you don't have to worry about making money to survive. Same goes for politicians and the media.

Your "common good" doesn't include school children, small business owners, or the average Joe who needs to work to put food on his family's table. Or the mental health of all of the above. Mine does.

Florida shows you are tragically wrong and you don't have the guts to admit it.

Move to Baja where mandatory masks are enforced, at least in Loreto.

You happen to know how they enforce that?

I.e. you know of anyone who has been smitten by the authorities because of that?

Enforced by threat and intimidation. Spoke with a local gringa on the beach and told me this story. Told the story to a long time gringo local and he said story was possible.

Don't recall all the details to the story so don't ask. Gringa in town stopped by police for not wearing a mask. Said the fine was $700US. They threatened to arrest her and impound her car. She phoned someone who got her off. The gringa relating this story knew the woman in question.

A month ago I saw many gringoes without masks in Loreto. Looked like most MX were wearing masks in public.

MX walking on the beach wore masks.

The vibe, IMO, in town was off. A friend described it as funk.

What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

To me, everything reported by the media is biased. If Desantis really speaks for the people, great. That's Florida. Question raised might be how does it play in Peoria? Population and demographics for that State is skewed.

Seriously, hold judgment and see how it plays out after Spring break. I'll be first to admit you're on to something. I'd like you to be proven right. Just don't see Florida as meaning anything right now.

1.Totally proves my point. Only willing to adjust your behavior based on what you consider to be acceptable.

2.No, I am not a retiree with a set income.

As far as Florida goes, hahahaha. De Santis is a liar and data suppressor.

You keep saying this. Where are your "facts."

Because right now you just sound like one of the weirdo's on the far right claiming election fraud.

You can type "DeSantis suppresses COVID data" into the Google search engine as easily as I can. Plenty of articles available for your enlightenment.

Gnukid: they will start vaccinating your age bracket in California on April 1. I suspect you will be first in line, eh?

...eh?

If you're trying to pass off as some of kind of Canadian, forget it-- you'd never make the grade.

Funny thing, I have been mistaken for Canadian. I grew up in western Washington, and when I was college age on east coast people occasionally asked me about my accent, they said I sounded Canadian. Don’t get that question anymore, so I must have lost my western Washington/Canadian accent.
