Bumped into this oldie. Contingency for the Baja 1000 in Tijuana, early 90s. We were helping team Kia -- I am at the front right corner of the
Sportage, hands raised. My wife took the photo from the second or third floor of a building under construction.

Nice bay on Isla La Ventana a couple miles offshore from BoLA. Good hiking paths.

I am pretty sure that model Kia was introduced in the US in 1995. I still have a 96 that I leave in Anchorage for when I am up north. The basic
frame and drive train is a Mazda design.
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

I'm not too savvy with with the maps and posting here, but Gaia just calls it "Sierra de la Laguna High Point" at 6759 feet with GPS coordinates of
23.53901, -109.95421. In the Sierra de la Laguna mountains between Santiago and Todos Santos. We did a one-way hike across over 4 nights a couple of
weeks ago. It was amazing.

Ah, of course. Have always wanted to drive across Sierra de la Laguna (being lazy). Thanks!

We started walking at the San Dionisio trailhead West of Santiago and finished at a ranch at the end of the trail about 10 miles east of Todos Santos.
I don't know the name of that one. The route is on the AllTrails app. 2 days up, a layover day on top to climb the peaks, and 1 day out.
