That's why I was hoping

to hear from Doug about it. You know, the one who knows about these things.

I've been removing certain posts. There's no one else to finger, as no other mods have been active recently.

If I screwed up the thread somehow I'm unaware of it. Sorry if that's the case. If I removed something I shouldn't have - or you felt was important - I'm sorry. Just doing my best to keep things civil. The anons IMHO have been abusing the intent of allowing such postings here, and if there's anything I've felt is inappropriate in their postings, I'm just hitting the delete button at this moment in time.

And no, anything that's completely removed or moved to another thread has nothing annotated to it... only edits made to the original posting's content itself will there be an "edited by" notation.

Thank you Doug... Those who think what they type on YOUR forum must never be touched need a kick in the head. You give this to us for free (I think a monthly subsription would be not out of line, as it is more interesting than TV, magazines, etc.), so do what you want.

This is private property, not a tax payer supported public domain. No freedom of speech need apply here. It has been sorely abused by just a few, and most of the rest just go away. I obviously enjoy Baja Nomad a lot, so I won't be bullied away and seek the continued access to a great place to talk about Baja and make Baja loving friends. I also have no problem sharing my trips with everyone who wants to read them, because it inspires others to explore and enjoy Baja, and that benifits the Mexican people in the best way.

Thanks again Sr. Baja Nomad.

Sorry, but let's not speak in code... if this is personal, like before, email or u2u me. When anyone posts something with the intent to hurt another that needs to be removed and doesn't belong here, including private messages.

I have to thank you Addict, for some humor on my last group Baja tour (El Rosario Festival)...

When taking photos of everyone at our first stop, I yelled out, "If anyone has a problem with their photos being posted on Nomad, say so NOW!":yes::biggrin: (nobody did)

Seems to me you got your work cut out just mod-ing the "registered" peoples posts.
Seems like a grand waste of everyones time including
but especially the mod, it's not part of his dialog afterall.
They(the anons) are having increasing trouble delineating from each other. They are all confused.

So are some of the Nomads....

You expose one, he just pops up as a Hungarian or an Italian in the next post.
It's so stupid.
People who fear the quick Anon(s) a some others as well simply won't reside visably and for good reason.

It's not a benefit anymore I am afraid.

I had no problem with you posting our photos

until you adused that privelege in your strange ploy to get at JR. As was confirmed in your U2U to me, after I requested that you desist:

"What would you like me to do? The photos are not new, they have been online since taken...

It was my way of letting JR know you were not some newbie, that he doesn't know anything... plus as tough looking as you are... he might shut up! LOL"

Funny thing! I was just reading tonight your posts swearing that you don't do things like this!

I do not not post to NEWBIES warning about jr has he keeps insisting...

jr has been calling you a NEWBIE, and by showing a photo of you and Internet amigos from years ago, it proved jr was wrong (again) in defence of your status.

Now, has jr convinced you that you actually are a NEWBIE? If so, then yes, I am guilty of u2u'ing you about jr...

Let it go Chris, let's move on... I was supporting your position as being a long time Baja poster (Amigos and Nomad) in defiance of jr's lies.

I still do not understand why you got hot on me, and I never will understand it. I remove photos only when asked to, and until that point you still didn't actually ask me to remove them, so I asked you, "What do you want me to do?"

They are all removed from my site, and unfortunately, the other people who appeared in the same photo lost their photo at Viva Baja 4 and BBBB 4 in order for me to honor your request.

Happy trails, catch more triggers and halibut, and please post yourself that cool photo of Hector's monument that was on the web page I made of the three photos you sent me years ago.

That wasn't your motive, and you know it. Would you care for me to elaborate?

I mentioned my displeasure, nicely. What did you need, an engraved request? When my family is trespassed on, I only give one oppourtunity for redress. After that I will jump on the offender with both feet. Your use of our photos to further your personal feud was a violation of my family.

Do you understand me now?

You do jr, as you repeatedly called bajaaddict a newbie, who has no business speaking up on Nomad... or whatever you were harping on the guy about. You also keep asserting I post NEWBIES and 'warn them about you'! What a crock, look at how many who have already posted I did no such thing. How about a retraction?

Are you going to help some village get up to $10,000 US in assistance, or not, because I will be involved and it's not to help your bamboo for profit venture?

Come on man, can't you be 'human' again?

I recall him refering to me as a newbie once.... I don't remember any "harping". Not that I really cared about, or required assistance defending my status .

Actually, I prefer JR's style - at least he is honest.

You are something else Dude

Seems to me like your "friend" would have read the posts without needing your "not so truthfull" help David. And I doubt that anyone besides you care about their "status" on a message board.
As far as a retraction, 3 people have emailed/u2u'd me about you u2u'ing them when they signed up. Perhaps they will come forth but it really doesn't matter. I won't name names.

As far as my projects go, you would be the last person I want involved. As far as the gringo money goes, I don't want anything involved with your buddies from this board. My friends would then feel they owed somebody. With me, they don't.

My "bamboo for profit venture" is probably how you would like people to see it but as usual, you don't know jack about Baja and what goes on here.

This is to teach my friends to be self sufficient. It has nothing to do with my making a profit although, perhaps I will. So what, I've put 3 years and a lot of money into it. You have a problem with profit?

At least you are intelligent enough to see the possibilities of what i am doing. As far as you becoming involved:lol::lol:
I'd stick with "helping" Antonio if I were you. You are already very lucky he let's you brown nose him.

Well Diver, as you can see only I can explain me or why I did something that upset bajaaddict and jrbaja. I don't know why jr needs you in his corner to help him, unless it is his inability to answer questions or prove his assertions that drives you to help?

jrbaja is still saying I contact newbies here with some paranoic idea I warn them about him. I think at least a half dozen newbies and former newbies have posted that is not true. jr once again said that I know nothing about Baja  and insulted Antonio, to boot. Only the mighty jr knows so much and only his Mexican friends are real friends... :?:

Well jr, I don't have to bribe anyone in Baja to like me or make them welfair cases by keeping their locations a secret and depriving other gringos (besides you and your $1000 per person travel customers) of going there and spending money on their products or services.

Yup, again I am being defensive... That is because of jr always being OFENSIVE... to me and most other Nomads (who happen to be gringos).

Diver, you don't want me to post defensive stuff, then get your buddy to drop the attacks... I did ignore him for a couple of weeks to see if that would make a difference. But no, jr had to put 'DK' or 'little David' in his posts as he can't do anything here without the drama of fighting. Yup, I am his windmill....

David K

I'm with diver, if JR attacks you on something thats not true ignore it, if you keep defending yourself you'll always be defending yourself and JR will be sitting back, O boy did have fun with David K today, just my 2 cents(pesos)

The problem with you "explaining yourself" is that you seem to have no concept of truth. That's why Bajaddict was trying to help.
The only insult to Antonio is you David. And you are so transparent, it will only be a matter of time before that puente is burned as well.
You continue to be caught in lies yet continue to attempt to weasle your way out of it.
It's true, I can not stand dishonest people.
