Your Turn.

I'm glad the pedantic minutia wavelength has been hijacked while I was gone. A lot has occurred while I was out living a life.

It took me a long time to get back because I had to go shopping for new sandals to wear. My dog ate my old ones and the new ones broke. I can't wear black socks either because my legs are too tan. They go better with pasty white legs, plaid shorts and black shoes. I've decided on a thong and bow tie. I'm on my way to paint the town red. I'm not worried about tomorrow morning but I will probably wake up feeling kinda ocher. :barf:

Grover,
That was way to funny for so early in the morning. I haven't found my voice yet, let alone be able to properly laugh so hard without snorting my rum and coke all over the key board.

Well, I'm wondering if this thread shows a need for a dedicated Hijack forum or is Hijacking a message in itself?

Maintaining Standard and Reputation

Staying (or straying) within the "Spirit" of the thread while at the same time living up to Morgaine's comment, I have this irresistible urge to weasel politics into each thread.

On that note, I saw yesterday where Ron Paul's campaign has come up with the idea of using a Blimp to skirt campaign finance laws wherein people would "purchase" advertising on the Blimp rather than make a contribution.

The earlier news that Ron Paul had garnered the support and endorsement of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch leads to a catchy tie-in. As an advertising move, they could call the Airship "The Moonlight Bunny-We leave You Limp" Blimp.

Just a thought.

In another shining thought given the extent to which negative campaign advertising continually makes statements that are completely false, I think the Federal Elections Commission needs to form a committee to address those outright lies. They could call it the Federal Election Candidates Evaluation Supervision, to be known by its acronym FECES.

On a more important note, my favorite shoes for years have been Low-Back MacGregor "Courts" because they have the least decoration. No Black Slashes or other crap, just white shoes with the name on the heel. They're hard to find at times so I buy in multiples. And, I never wear shoes without socks. Sandals without socks ARE OK when heading for the water.

Be advised, The wind this a.m. started out Westerly, but has now turned Easterly so we are now on a Lee Shore.
