I wish that I could paste ALL the U2's and the Emails that I got....expressing the outright nasty reprisals from Mengano / Fulano / aka Charles M.
Levitin....................some of our fellow Bajanomad members received from this lowlife. These folks are scared of him...and I totally understand
their feelings. These are popular BN's!
Let's keep the facts clear here.....Mengano / Fulano / aka Charles M. Levitin....was and is............a forum terrorist......not just some guy that
does negative postings about Mexico.
Don't believe these letters I got? I'll give Doug my personal password to my private gigo mail account.......and he can read these letters. He can

This is all being blown way out of proportion. Can you show me one time that he initiated an arguement or a feces war? One time!!!
If people would take the news items, or leave them, without nasty rebuttal, we wouldn't be going through seven pages of nonsense.
Those who voluntarily engaged him when his response was predictable are as guilty as he is.
Clean your own houses before you decide to criticize others for their bad habits.

Look........I'm not defending Fulano's behavior here....right or wrong. What I'm saying is that this forum isn't supposed to be a kangaroo court and
since Fulano can't drop in to offer his own defense, he deserves representation.
People have to prove their accusations and that shouldn't be so difficult if they were accurately made.
Sooo...I go back to my earlier request....prove that he started a fight here. Prove that he walked in the door and without even
saying hello, started throwing feces around the room.
Everybody deserves a defense. It's the American way.
ooops...I meant Mengano. It all gets so confusing at times.....who's who, and such.

It's just a big game.. was just attacked this morning ... for a rather innocent post dealing with transvestites ... which IMO was gender neutral as
that is my position .. regarding same.. just said I liked his shoes... and related my first exposure to transvestites in France when only 17 ... which
was not a life changing event... rather a learning experience ..
Some wish to attack, the individual rather than the subject matter .. what's new
And I still play as it is fun for ME !! HUH .. JOe..

Yep, you've made that clear before. Originally, when OT was set up, it was billed as an outlet to discuss, largely, political matters that kept
creeping into other posts. For a while it even worked that way. Since then ...
For the record, I agree with you. Getting rid of it would be a plus, but there's little doubt that more active moderation would then be required. I
think that too was tried.
Also for the record, I consider the perspective that publishing news that paint the peninsula as unsafe negative or hateful, or racist total and
complete BS. News is news. The only question is "is it true", and if yes, it belongs here, a Baja site with a "Baja News" section.
Mengano and aliases have made the point that there are those who would rather not see the news published because it increases the fear, decreases
travel and hurts their interest. This is his opinion, and one I agree with. I think it's self-evident when this happens.
I also find amusing that there are those who say, as a matter of course - "if you don't like my posts don't read them", yet when it comes to Mengano,
apparently the standard changes. You don't link the bad news, don't read them. Simple enough. There are also those who call Mengano/Fulano a terrorist
yet attach others personally, as you were in the last couple of days, making fun of your byline.
I know most of this does not apply to you, Lencho, but I think YOU understand that you are hardly representative of the average board member.
Frankly, I really don't even know why I come here at all. Force of habit is as close as I can come to an explanation. A habit started years ago on the
Amigos site, where it seems that there was way more information about places to see on the peninsula that I could learn about. Or maybe, I have seen
most of those places by now. Or maybe things have changed and it's just not the adventureland it used to be. Or maybe all of the above, or I have no
idea what I'm talking about
The line between a habit and an addiction is pretty thin at times, and there's little good to say about the latter.

Fulano is nothing but an internet racist terrorist behind the keyboard.
The insane nut thinks his purpose in the world is to warn Americans of the dangers of Mexico, and if you disagree with him. He gets furious, just
furious, and then goes into attack mode.
Fulano's weapons were many second handles, or real multiple personalities/demons in his head. Over at "SignsOnSanDiego" I counted at least six
multiple handles, and suspected at least another ten multiple handles he used to drip the negative Mexico news, and back himself up in the comment
section. ( The San Diego Tribune had to change the comment format because of this kind of abuse from Fulano and others)
Well Fulano had the right to state his opinion about Mexico. Other Nomad members had the right to criticize those articles and question Fulano's
motives. There is nothing wrong with a friendly discussion or friendly debate. Fulano took it to another level, and tried to destroy and ruin the
reputation of ANYONE who disagreed with him. Now of course some of us could act just as bad as Fulano, and you could make a case we deserved his
flames. But many Nomad members were just newbies, and really never uttered a harsh word towards Fulano, but Fulano attacked and belittled them anyway.
That's just not right.
Fulano's MO was trying to "out" people of their private information with a shotgun approach of inaccurate information, although he often got one fact
right out of maybe ten true facts.
I'm sure there are some Nomad members that feared to speak up in a thread because of the threat Fulano would go after them, and try to expose
potentially embarrassing information. Again why does "Baja Nomads" need somebody that pulls stuff like that?
According to Fulano the picture above is suppose to be a picture of my son. I love the Kid/young adult fun loving attitude at least in the picture,
but it's not my son. I never saw that young adult in my life. I don't know if Fulano is just wrong, or is just making things up. Fulano also likes to
play games, and really thinks everybody is pretty stupid, and can't tell what he is really doing.
Fulano often has no clue, but will make things up out of thin air.

Given how badly the credit card companies and banks have been treating us all the past few years, I no longer see "strategic mortgage defaults"
(walking away from underwater mortgages) and the wiping-out of credit card debt as moral issues. I used to until recently. Once you've lost your
job and your 99 weeks run out, your first moral obligation is to yourself and your family. Do they let you keep the miles?

I am not a member there. Tried to be a member of that septic forum to "express my words towards the Igor there"...was was denied.......I have gone
there twice to read the dark matter about me...that was brought to my attention. Yes...I can fault him. Freedom of speech was not given to us for
slanderous statements and non physical terrorizing by individuals.

Anyone can read about the guy who was growing marijuana in my house in Hawaii and mixing methadone and liquor, and I couldn't keep going over to my
house from Honolulu to clean up after him, so yes, I offered him reasonable accomodation, and asked him either to get someone to help him (the VA had
given him the option of a full time health care worker because of agent orange)...or he had to find another place or leave. The guy left of his own
accord. Whatever, its all in black and white.

I've come to understand that the word bankruptcy has been a dirty word for the little guy in the past. Made dirty by "big business" so as to make the
little guy pay up at all costs to, who else but "Big Business". However, when big business does it they call it a "bail
out" and the CEO gets a three million dollar bonus and they charge it to us (better known as the U.S. government). There by allowing big business
to continue screwing the little guy and CEO's to get more bonuses. If you haven't received your share of the "bail out" now's the time... It's not that hard and you're not ruined for life as they would have you
believe. I sell $80 and $100K cars to clients who have gone bankrupt several times and they're still living in multi-million dollar homes and livin'
the good life. It's just business as usual.

I didn't say I approved of it as a business strategy, just that I didn't see it as a moral issue as I had in the past. I'm not wired to do business
that way, at times I wish I was. I made my living in the casino industry and I do understand people and human behavior under stress though. We're
all different in the same ways. So, do you get to keep the frequent flier miles?
