We were hoping our son and girl friend would be able to come but both are committed at work over that weekend.

If you are, please U2U me so I can get head count info to BW for the shrimp.

Thanks

Gadget,

Dont worry about a head count for the Shrimp, I was going to get just a kilo as a side dish to the main course.

We're heading out in an hour, adios amigos!

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Talked to Nomad Bug and she wants to come (Was up there yesterday but ready to go back) but she has 2 families coming to visit and can't haul all of them on the trip. But if they cancel, she'll be there.

BajaWarrior is already down there and is not online.
He left some numbers on a previous post or contact me.

Shrimp will be intented as an appetizer.

If we all bring a little something on the side we will have a feast.
As an example, we are bringing one of those multi layered bean dip trays from Costco and a big bag of chips, along with Carne for us, to grill.

I have been trying to make contact with an Orphanage or Organization to make a charitable donation on Monday as we leave but have not had a reply from them yet. Plan is to ask everyone heading down to bring some items if they can. If I don't hear from them by Monday I am pulling the plug for this trip. We'll step up our game for next year and organize that sooner.

See you all soon!

Copy that BajaRob. Will all of you be joining us for the BBQ? If so bring whatever you want to grill and a side or somthing if you can.

I have also been in contact with the rotary in San Felipe.
Kay has suggested that on such short notice the following items we may bring to donate.
A box with rice, beans cooking, oil, fruit for a family in need.
Pencils, crayons, spiral notebooks, erasers, rulers etc for kids.

The Rotary is having their monthly breakfast meeting in town on Monday morning and have invited us to attend. They will collect our donations and distribute them where most needed.

So Nomads, shall we step up our game a little? Please U2U me if you are in and we will see what happens. I know it is short notice but we still have this week and a short trip to Smart and Final or Target could make a big difference for someone.

I am having a hard time communicating with Kay with the Rotary. I ask a couple of questions and she only answers one back.

Here is what I know so far:
They have a small room for their breakfast and so she wants just one couple from our group to attend.
Leslie and I will go into town with our truck and make the donations on Nomads behalfs.
That way any of you that need to bolt early for the border can do so.

If you want to bring something down of the suggested items please do so. They will take all that we bring. We may choose to just drop it off and head out also.

THIS JUST IN TODAY: Prerunning for the San Felipe 250 may start this weekend. It could be busy out there. If this does turn out to be the case I will have to adjust our trail ride accordingly for safety concerns.

Thanks all you guys
