Like to take this to Off Topics....I'd be most happy to debate you there. Otherwise....I hope you are done with your bio gas output.

I was done before but you drew me back in with your vitriolic nonsense (that is what you wanted wasn't it.)
Let's be clear son --- I don't get rattled by the likes of you, Pompano, or others of your species.

Son? How old are you?????
Oh...I rattled you.
Perhaps it was from giving you a taste of your own sharp and bitter remarks

I have lived with and known drinkers that get trashed on a daily basis yet they get up go to work each day and live seemingly productive lives. No
harm no foul...........................until you put the key in the ignition and drive on a public road.
I would hope that Pompano will not do that again.
Reality check. Many expats that live in Baja tend to drink a lot. That really can't be a surprise to anyone who has spent time in Baja.

How is it you stood up for JR when you only registered in 2009 (he was long gone). While you are a prolific poster you are a relative newbie

Directed at me too? The McFez?
The last guy here that I stood up for was Jr......many years ago. He was called every name in the book .....pressed folks here for good reasons....and
had a lot of respect from many here. Years after his death.....Jr is still talked about here at the BN.
I think Roger here is a great resource here at the BN. Perhaps he is on the top 10 most favorite BN's here (below me :rolleyes . He has sound positive stories, offerings of good advice, and his wondering photo
shots are awesome. He has indeed offered worthy reading here at the Nomads......yet I have never read much rants coming from him. Negative insults
from him...do they exist? Slobbery words...nope. I do indeed look forward to his participation here. All good offerings. Hundreds of postings he has
done....if not thousands. He will be here for a long time to come....and remembered even longer.
You racheldarlin? 65 puny postings. Someone of lesser coolness...if any...is you. You offer little here. Your words have bored many of us. Your back
and forth of accusations reminds me of when I used to bar tend at my clubs... every once in an while, a drunk customer would be at my bar
counter.....rambling on and on and on......as you are doing now. Gods......you must be ChrisX's wife! You wont be remember here much...if any at all.

Reality check? Oh Gods! I live in a Campos of 70+ homes. I have never seen a drinking issue there. Perhaps if you stopped hangin in the bars and get
out once in a while...you'll see many non drinkers out there. What a Three Stooges statement you made.

Your right I see many non drinkers in Baja. I really don't hang out in bars much here or down in Baja. To say you haven't witnessed problem drinking
in Baja is beyond credible. I'll forgive your point of view because you make your living selling booze and it might just shade it a little.

Quite true Ken.
In fact it seems to be a trait I have observed of folks world over who retire by the water. Seems to go hand in hand for some reason - must be
something in the salty sea air.
I have also observed that it is considered to be a general, unwritten rule when south of the border that you can drink and drive as long as you drive
slow. Around here the rules seems to go as long as you drive on unpaved roads. In fact that seems to be fairly consistent throughout Latin America as
well as parts of Indonesia where I have spent a lot of time.
Anybody here who says they have NEVER gotten behind the wheel when they probably shouldn't have after drinking at some point in their life is either a
liar or a Baptist preacher. Hopefully Pomp will learn that lesson now as (hopefully) the rest of us have.
Maybe something positive comes out of this thread and we all be more aware of our responsibilities as adults, no matter how much we drink and how much
we miss yesterday.
Peace...

If I sense a drinking issue..I am out of there. Hell....I didn't even allow drinking around my kids till a year ago!
Oh...I have seen drunks here and there...as I do in Sacramento too. With all respect to you, I''ll say that much. There are many that could use AA
indeed....but thats a road that the person must take alone without being pushed.

Hey Rachel,
At first you sounded like someone who overcame her drinking problems and turned into a zealot. But now it's become clear that what bothers you the
most is that people idolize Roger on this board.
And you want to bring him down. That's your real motive.
Are you edifying us? For what purpose? We're adults who can think for ourselves.
It's not about drinking. It's about one man that was drinking. And there are the same nomads always ready and willing to join pyre. Just for the fun
of seeing the flames rise.
"Cut him down to size. Who does he think he is. I've had it up to here with all the accolades. I puke every time I read them. But now I've got you
right where I want you, my friend. A transgression that will make you pay dearly."
As Co-Pilot wrote from Rome (I believe it was on this thread). "Good people will believe you, tesoro, and the remainder weren't friends to begin
with".
