Wind sucks

I always heard that wind BLOWS, or is that too sexist?

Didja ever wonder why Caltrans puts up signs that say "Warning High Winds Next xxx Miles"?
If they really are high why would you worry if you're on the ground?

We had a little rain with flashes of lightning & thunder this morning! As the cells rolled over us s/w to n/e the wind blew hard tailing the front. Now in early pm it's beautiful with light winds. Tropical feed from down south, I believe. Took the dust off the roads for a while. I hope this thread lives on, Dennis. I'm a believer. :bounce: Tio

I love warm and hot days. Wish I was there. I even liked the 3 years I lived in Palm Springs but I didn't fit in with the average age of 107. No night life except at the ER

57 here in The Dalles, Columbia Gorge. Predicted to be 77 in a few more days. Breezy 17mph winds, which the area windsurfers LOVE!

While fishing with a guide near Maryhill bridge, caught some nice walleye for a delicious dinner. Life is good...with the right sauce!
