Cliffy, are you related to the Man_with_Gas?
You keep coming up with these bogus BS links, to try to prove global warming is not real. It's no wonder nobody here provides links to support their
global warming denier position, because it usually takes seconds to show it's pure BS, or to show these nuts are on the payroll to companies like
Exxon.
Google the name Ivan Giaver, and you see he has ties to Philip Morris, where he also tried to say cigarettes do not cause cancer, and you see he has
ties to Exxon, ties to other oil companies, ties to the Koch bros, and other right-wing groups, that pollute the planet for financial gain.
And yes, Ivan Giaver, is a Nobel Laureate, but not in the global climate field.
Cliffy, on your next link, Google it before you post it, because I sure will after you post it.
___________________________________________-
This senile old man is in the back pocket of Exxon, and other evil companies.
Ivar Giaever’s links to Exxon Mobil, Heartland, Cato etc…
Earlier today, I wrote that Ivar Giaever was either a sell out or senile with his recent very public exit from the American Physical Society over
AGW. I argued that for a man of his scientific stature to say the propaganda he has been saying, he had to be either on the take (paid for by the
usual suspects like the Kochs and Exxon) or senile. This is because the science of AGW really is that sound. Having someone of his stature come out
against it the way he has is like a respected rabbi suddenly arguing that pig is kosher. Something had to be up.

SO with all the charts and stuff he pulled up (as you wanted in your previous post), I guess it makes no difference.
As he talked about in his first sentence, those who have the "religion" allow no distension at all. No difference of opinion, only the story from your
side of the isle. It wouldn't matter WHO was brought up with a differing opinion, you and the cult followers will ALWAYS find some way to disavow
anything, ANYONE brings up as bogus.
Enjoy your world of opinion. You live in a tight circle.

You and everyone else should know by now that anarchist JJJ does not care about your views, does not care about solutions, does not care about
reasoned discourse, and you or anyone who else calls him out on it, he goes off into tirades of what a dolt you are, stone stupid and a flaming
denier.
His entire reason for being is to sow hate, animis, disruption and belittle you with over the top cheap shots.
One has to only look at his comments on a variety of topics here over the years to form a reasoned conclusion........NUTS.
Mildly entertaining....not much else.

Seriously! If Fishbuck hadn't requested to see them, we may have never seen them here!
I guess I would need to show photos of Alfonsina's restaurant pad which was there since 1959... and still just above high tide today as back then. I
have photos from 1967 there, too.

Dk,
You can’t see the forest for the tree.
It’s a big flocking world, and you are stuck on your narrow world view of 3 beaches in baja and 1 friggin palm tree!
Pull your head out of your a$$ and look up, the world is bigger than what you have seen.
What happens at alfonsinas is not representative of what happens elsewhere in the world. Doh!

Goat, it is called "sea level" because it is a standard point to measure elevation. The level goes up and down with tides and storm surges, but on
average it is still about the same the past 100 years despite how 'dirty' mankind is. A single volcano is far dirtier, by the way, and there are
dozens of volcanoes erupting. Nature has a way of handling all this 'dirt'.
I have a lot more than three points of reference but to you and those of your religious cult, facts do not matter. I lived in Del Mar, on the beach
and the lot and street (Sandy Lane) are still above the sea as much now as in 1957-1964 when I lived there (want photos of me playing on the beach,
lol?).
I lived in Darwin, Australia, in 1970 (Nightcliff district) about two blocks from the beach. On Google Earth, I can see the beach is still there today
and not covered by rising sea level. Many different (solid) places on both coasts of Baja are still there. How many years will you guys be going to
the ocean and to the same locations? For me, 60 years of memories. Sand moves but the sea level is virtually unchanged... not saying it isn't
changing, just not in any amount for the hysteria to be justified.
There are better uses for your energy and tax dollars. Find some that actually are real, do good, and can be solved by people.

DK's last post validates another theory I have heard bandied about. Now knowing that he spent time in Darwin, he is likely a product of Darwinian
evolution, one of the ones that didn't quite make the full cycle. Possibly missing the lower tabular extension of the furlong, which is located in
the right side of the brain. That is the part which would normally control cognition...GED could explain that better than I, I just read the BIG
print.....

Baja Balls
Not only that but global warming is responsible for the near epidemic suffering of hyperhidrosis of the groin. In men, this causes the lowering of
anatomical constituents. Us Baja guys will need to careful when wearing loose fitting swim trunks. The length of the suits needs to be sufficient to
conceal the low hanging condition.

So after 8 pages I opened the thread to see what it was about. 8 pages of nonsensical drivel. No, "fossil fuels ... are the sole culprit in any
rising sea levels." No, the photos do not depict any mid-February beach in San Diego. No, CNN and MSNBC are not those who actually measure and
analyze. Yes, the north pole is melting - undisputable. Yes, some places on earth are actually being covered in ocean water, and not in a seasonal,
high tide kinda way. And for all you who think that a beach in Baja California is the Supreme Measuring Stick of global weather phenomenon and
effects thereof, you're truly looking at the world in rose colored glasses, with a myopic view. How can any of you deny that PEOPLE on EARTH are
responsible for certain effects of their existence. You truly think that cutting down a forest will have no effect? That spewing stuff in the
atmosphere - similar to a volcano - will have no effect? Etcetera, etcetera. So many effects, no many mistakes, so much denial, so much selfishness,
so much ignorance. I regret opening the thread - only underscores the ignorance of mankind, which is what I worry about.

Seriously, there are only a few decades of scientific data with the degree of quality, sample size and all the other attributes needed to make a truly
quantitative and not qualitative assessment.
Anything scientific is only an extrapolation.
There just isn't enough good data YET to be able to apply proven scientific methodologies to analyze a complex problem.
BTW, Joe's chart needs a branch for life on Mars to be a valid conspiracy
