BAJA CAT AND BAJA CATA
THE RED BIKES YOU SENT ARE INCREDIBLE
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL
GRACIAS AMIGUITO ... YOU ARE A SANTA CLAUS TO LA BOCANA !!!
wow, we are getting helmets and bikes and water bottles. The kids are going out every day - they are learning to care for the bikes - they must wipe
them down and grease them - they are so serious about it. I wish I could show all of you their smiles. I am sure they will NEVER EVER EVER forget
these moments ... just like each of us with a special Christmas gift we once got
Shari - you little one is one of the most active. I think, seriously, that he dreams bikes, sleeps next to the bike ...
OUR OFFICIAL LIST started out with 3 bikers 3 months ago and now we have 27 signed up, riding every day, learning how to be responsible for the bikes
and working together to raise money - latest raffle is for 50 sushi and a choc cake

Update - the bike club is training every day and in the heat of the desert, this is really hard work. They are still doing carwashes averaging 2 a
month and we have garage sales that really boost our coffers - if anyone is coming to the area and has household items, clothes etc - feel free to
donate. A little bag goes a long way !
Many of you have said you will bring some bikes down Sept Oct Nov - I am counting on you !!
Newest agenda item = we are sponsoring the buying of books for 2 high school club teens who can't afford to pay and were going to drop out. I have
promised to start a college fund for any kid in the surf or bike club who wants to go to college. I will write more about this idea as it progresses.
Turns out college tuition is $1200 dollars a year !!!
So reasonable and I am thrilled to be a part of this dream for them.

Baja Cat - I have so much help from everyone, that is how I do my projects !!!! Thanks so much for caring amiguito !!!!!!
I never knew that the kids had trouble payiing for school, I am a teacher and this hits HOME. I can't let it slide .... I wd rather let the bike club
be run by someone else than let the education fall thru the cracks
I am, by nature, an over-achiever. Very competitive with myself and if I am not really busy with lots of challenges, I get bored. Then I have to move
away form Baja and we DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN jejejeje
I love life here, I love all the projects !!! BAJA CAT: your help with the bikes was one of the coolest most amazing moments of my llife
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the positive spirit !!!

Blanca, I just want to say that I think you are doing great things for the kids in your little burg! Way to make a difference!!! I"ve seen a motocross
track in La Paz. I may see if I can help the kids out when I FINALLY get to join Dra. Bajabass down south. Anything that keeps kids on a positive
course is huge! On either side of the border.
Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands upon the wheel!
