Was there ever a monument built for Coco?
The wonderful photos posted recently from Baja past included one of Coco with friends. I remember that after he passed away there was talk of
building a memorial for him, but never heard if that actually happened.
Did I miss something?

This was what we saw a couple months ago, behind the new Coco's Corner...
I added the photo to my Coco's Corner web page: https://vivabaja.com/coco/

Thanks David!
On my next trip south I will bring an interesting rock to add to the pile. I have some nice chunks of quartz with crystals, or perhaps a chunk of
petrified wood.

An arch over it, with pretty panties hung from it like prayer flags.

I have a lot of fond memories from stopping at his original spot and stretching my legs and “buying” a couple beers from him. He always had a
smile and welcoming personality. Coco made a lot of friends

I stopped there one my way north and south for quite a few years. One on one conversations with him would bring out some pretty incredible stories!
