Killer Caine - Pompano

Pompano,

Last night, for an early Mother's day treat, we went to see "Dust To Glory" at the Palm Theater in San Luis Obispo. It was a mighty good film, but one of my favorite parts was seeing your old baja friend, your paparazzi amigo, Killer Caine.

We felt honored to have been in the same baja space with him that cold night at Laguna Chapala, Nov. 2003. He shared many stories with us that we enjoyed, including his visits to Bahia de Los Angeles.

We smiled when his face appeared on the screen. You can't miss him.

I thought you'd like to know that your friend lives on.

P.

Paulina, thanks for the kind thought...

We all miss Killer..he was an original Baja addition. He is very much alive in Baja and right here in my den. Lots of his photos adorn these walls. Everyone in Mulege loved him too, even when things got a little strange. My friend, Manuel Cuesta often would say of Killer...El Killer esta un poco loco, pero no habla con fuego....Killer is a little crazy, but doesn't speak with fire.

We had some times.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Crap. I missed it. I'll have to look closer when i get the DVD.
Pompano, is that Sue in the picture? Of Donna Moe's fame? She
looks better than Sue did so I doubt it.
