Anonymous Unregistered in Baja

It is to bad that these artificial Anons in Baja are ruining this fetcher for all of the new users that it was designed to help. But If you other Nomads with Baja interests continue to post under Baja Q&A you will continue to feed Anonymous. most of the posts regarding Baja can be made under General Baja Discussion. also you will get more response from Nomads rather than Anon.

I am very reluctant to answer any posts made on Baja Q&A or others that allow Anon to post. and I will no longer answer an anon poster

it is to bad that a few bad apples can effect so many good Nomads

what I'm looking for is the Input of other Nomads. with Baja Interests do you think this is a good idea or bad?

do you think I have a point or not?

Do you think I'm crazy or what?

I originally started Anonymous Unregistered thread under General Baja Discussion and it mysteriously got moved to Suggestions, Comments, or Issues dose this tell you something. I think some one wants anon on here more than the Nomads.

so I am trying again to see if it will stick where I intended to be . this must have Bent caused by some kind of software glitch because no mention was made of editing by a moderator,

Looks like it stuck !
I agree that the anon postings are getting a bit out of hand.
I think it's pretty low for a registered user to hide behind the anon user name. The only solution would be to stop allowing anon posts at all. This would only require that all new users take a few minutes to register. I don't see the problem with that.
Some of our posters are fairly anonymous anyway, just with a name to make their posts easier to follow. So why not use a name ??

Heck. I'm using my name. So do a lot of others. Those that don't, leave me with huge visions of "monsters, ex cons, drug dealers, trouble makers, liars, fabricators, expounders, and guys with little 'wee wee's'!!!!! Oh yes. Some folks forget to sign in correctly, and I'm not pointing my fingers at them. It's the continual useage folks of anon. I'm for having anons "zapped" from access. If an anon wants to be 'unknown' let him/her go down under the bridge and communicate with those folks. Dave. Any thoughts on why you haven't set up the 'system' to omit access to the site by the anon's??? Phil S

Why perpetuate this lie? Has any 'newbie' come forward to say I u2u'd them with warnings about jrbaja? Has jr proved his lie to you with ANY evidence?

I don't need to warn anyone (if I thought it was necessary), they can see for themselves if they like the constant negative along with a few nice photos... I like the photos myself. I want the negative, hate, lies to end... it is getting so old and it is ruining this board.

Bruce, the Q & A forum is a place where anyone can try and get a quick answer to a Baja travel question. So, taking the time to register (if they just have a quick question) will likely steer them away. However, it is hoped that they get some nice replies and that may encourage them to become Nomads... 'Anons' can be anyone, new or registered Nomads who want to be just that, anonymous. Because so many are getting attacked here for being a gringo or non-Baja resident, they probably prefer to not have a personal attack that will lead to lies being attached to their registered name.

Just kidding, David ! You know, Ha Ha !?!?
S-E-N-S-E O-F H-U-M-O-U-R; ever heard of it ?
Give your self-involved, overly-defensive mantra a break and lighten up !
More people might like you if you let them !

Re: Anons
If it's too much trouble for them to take a few minuted to register than maybe they don't have that much interest in Baja. I think there's much more good cause to register than reason not to.

Sorry about ending that sentence with a preposition; no offense intended, which reminds me of the story about the elderly souther gentle-lady who boarded a plane. As she sat down, she turned to the lady and her husband sitting in the seats next to her and said " Hello thereyoung lady, lovely day to fly, and where are ya'all from ?
The wife looked at her sternly and said " We are from a place where people do not end their sentences with prepositions."
With the same kind face she had asked the original question, the southern gentle-lady smiled and asked " Well, then where are ya'all from b-tch ?"

Sorry, my weird sense of humour go the best of me again !:lol:

Yes, my head has been sore... thanks Bedman for explaining to Diver what deminishes my sense of humor...

Diver, if that was a 'funny' then I apologize for being defensive.

Now, how about more 'Baja California' and less 'Nomad Member' discussions???:tumble::tumble:

I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER POSTING ANONYMOUSLY

But I support someone's right to do the same.

I also want all here to know that I will use my last breath to stand up for your right to an opinion no matter how wrong it may be.
