Isnt it funny....

Isnt it funny how laid back Baja can be. It has deserted beaches, great landscapes, really just everything you could want or need to relax. But just below all of that relaxed state of mind you have all this Bullsh@t. It seems like there has to be turmoil somewhere in your lives, if it doesnt happen naturally then you will make it happen here.
From the outside looking in, you guys all look like a bunch of miserable people living in paradise. I havent met anybody but Bernie { who is a great guy}, I only hope your not a miserable in REAL life as you seem on here. I know I dont have to read these types of posts, but they now out number the real Baja posts.
My fishing boards during the offseason arent even this bad.
Just had to give my view of things.......

shucks Frank, if you lived here you'd be miserable too. What with all the beautiful weather, good fishing, cheap beer, fine women, good food, cheap cost of living, wide open empty places; it's rough man it's rough.

Another lousy day in Paradise :P

Anyway, what are you talking about Frank. While I haven't read every thread, I only see 1 or 2 that are negative. Seems a lot better than a week ago. What am I missing.

Frank, I think if you had posted this 10 days to two weeks ago it would have made some sense, recently I think things have mellowed out.. There are those ego-driven folks who will always be with us, but hopefully they will come and go at an even rate and we wont become overpopulated by them again.

One Man's Misery.........

Is another's contentment. I'm always amused by these people who say "you're just so mean and miserable" usually because they look at life differently. You're assuming a state of mind you would like to think exists because of your way of looking at life. Heck, I've known some really "Rotten-Ass, Crooked, Abusive SOBs (not here, of course) who were happily enjoying every moment of their lives.

You haven't by chance got one of those Bumper Stickers that say "Mean People Suck" have you ? I usually see them on a beat-up vehicle driven by a refugee from the Peace/Love Generation.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm having a decent life. Better health would improve it, but it's still OK.

Frank, sounds as if you want the storm to start again......I don't see any reason for it.

check out the latest garbage at Baja q and a...

its suddenly turned into "Attack of the Anons":lol::lol: Franks right about Baja being pretty laid back and this board seems to be the opposite at times but maybe thats one of the reasons its a special place...we all kinda rile each other up,mostly in fun though....i just thought the jr-davidk bs got old after a while as well as the whole chicken coop, gringo enclave rhetoric...nobody wants to listen to someone who sits around and categorically judges everybody by where they live or who they hang out with in baja or anywhere else for that matter....

So, tell me Frank----if you haven't met most of us, how can you say we are such a miserable lot? You met Bernie. Are you judging us all by meeting one person. There are some really nice people on this board. Yea, sure, couple of a--holes, but aren't there always. Hope you can get over it.
