Glenn, please have Fishin' Rich check in here, or email me... No word since he moved to Abreojos... It must be GREAT there! I know you've been trying to get me there for years... Well, it won't be much longer I am sure!

Its an open fishery isn't it??(belulu
Code:
)Glad they still have a few down there... In'89 I sailed through baja on the way to panama..we stopped at Isla Cedros for a night..In town there I saw a commercial boat unloading HUGE sacks of belulu. I think they had five bags on deck with maybe 500 to 800 belulu in each sack.... who knows what was below deck as it was maybe a 50' converted sainer...off to the cannery with the belulu... i bought some of the canned product, it wasn't that great...back in the day I guess...

sea otters, seals, mini deer, etc, etc

they become pawns in a game of give and take, mostly take, by the enviro whacks...seen it toooo many times.

Whistler (aka GK), any more news on break-ins on Punta Americana?? How's Arturo doing, heard his kids kidnapped him for a month...Bobby rescued him..

please relay regards to all...coming to the lake with the long rod! maybe you can catch something by accident...Any fishing happening down there?

Ask Ritch to e me....is he on one of his juants??

george

i seem to remember a story about 6? years ago where the navy planted 1000 1" abs along a shelf somewhere off of point loma. it was a secret location where they could study the growth and movements of the abs along with predation to best determine if it would be a viable plan to restock the once teeming sunset cliffs reefs. i never heard anything further....
