Pam
Its hard to imagine myself laying in the warm sand with the sea of Cortez lapping up against my toes---when its raining and really cold here in
Southern California. First the fires and now the freeze. God how I wish I was in Loreto right now. Enjoyed your posts. Sharky

I couldnt agree more!!
Pams report is my connection to Loreto, not only for the honest fish report, but also for the long distance connection to warmer weather and good
friends. I wouldnt be without it.

Before you can stick your toes in he water up here, you have to cut a hole in the water. As for fishing, takes years of practice to cast accurately
enough to hit the hole in the ice, especially after consuming half a bottle of Jack Daniels antifreeze.
Anyway, yesterday Bancomer sent our fideicomiso papers to Mexico City. Well, at least they charged the fee to my credit card. And it's only been 8
months since we made our offer!
Soon as that's all done, I'm back.
Whether you're warm or cold, happy holidays from Montana.

Skeet: I've lived here in Kalispell for the last 30 years. In Northwest Montana, the Flathead Valley, near Glacier National Park.
We're buying a place in Loreto, on Zapata just south of Padre Kino.

Coldddddd up here
Don & capt. Sharky. Arrived here in Oregon last night. Two hours later, I got welcomed home with two inches of snow!!!!!! I guess just to remind me
why I spend the winters in Loreto, except for Christmas when 9 grandchildren require us to come home for hugs!!!! Oh yes, and gifts!!!!! Pam. Don't
turn the lights off, just because Wendy & I left for a few weeks!!!! I'm told the winds are acting up down there right now. At least we don't have
that to contend with, plus the snow.

Turn the lights off?
I have turned the lights off in the shop when I'm not here, since there's no turismo why keep long hours? But the Christmas tree is on 24-7 !
Its cold in Loreto now. And the wind makes it feel even colder. Remember there are very few homes with heat and mine's not one of them. And I think
its that which sometimes makes it seem colder than winter in New England.
This morning I brought the kids to school bundled up like they were heading for the snow, and Francisco and I huddled in the bedroom which has a
southern exposure. The sun poured in and the wind pounded as we imbibed in strong "cafe de la talega". Its cold here and just about everywhere else
in Mexico right now. But a few days of this cold snap and we'll be sticking our toes in the sea once again.

Hiya Pam
Misty and I are still on schedule to be there in early Feb. and after reading your last post, we may bring snow suits and long johns.
The snuggling part with cafe de la talega sounds like fun anyway.
Cya all in less than 2 months.
