thoughts and observations....

When they say it is "windy" in BOLA be prepared to stay inside for a few days...."men working" or "road under repair" signs mean nothing will be going on when you pass them..."dangerous curve" signs are for real and any speed over 40 is a challenge....the speed of 55 MPH seems to work best for me while driving the paved roads...every trip for 30 years I have carried a spare fan (serpintine) belt and NEVER used one...even tho "they say" you should always have one...wonder why...worst drivers?...Canadiens?...no...motor homes?..no... locals?...no...big rigs?...no...drunks ?...no...who then?....AMERICANS with SUV 's loaded with surfboards, windsurf, kayacks, and gear on the roof...they will ALWAYS be in a "hurry" to get some where...
