Why would you ask a question like that on a Mormon forum?

Just kidding, soleil. Try this older thread, it might help. There really are a great many good places to have a nice margarita in La Paz. I would
suggest a sidewalk or waterfront table along the malecon..just for the views. Salud!

very funny, senior nomads! with all the talk of recycling the beer bottles in for new beers, I had a hard time believing you ok, once again, malecon looks like where its at. Nothing better than killing one
afternoon with a nice margarita buzz!
thanks for the link- I'm having trouble when I try to run a search - I don't seem to get much info. what's the trick?

the 'search' function..
Maybe you could use a more general approach? Type in La Paz restaurants, La Paz margaritas, La Paz at night, etc.
Personally, I have found that drinking margaritas make my knees hurt. So...I favor beer...and to find the best bet for beer (cerveza) in La Paz, I
did my own 'search'.
My advice is ....attend Mass often.

OMG! No, I won't be practicing Catholicism... or Mormonism... or anthing similar while in La Paz. Just plain Hedonism for me! A simple cure the
knees hurting - just DON'T GET UP!

My vote is for the "Margarita Capri". It's really a lot of fluff with only a bit of alcohol, but it's 1 1/2 liters for 9 bucks. Plus the restaurant
Capri is right on the malecon and the ambiance is fantastic!

If you have room in your luggage just pack your blender. At the hotel ask where the closest store is and walk there. Buy all the stuff and make your
own margies. Las Gaviotas has a nice pool.Sit out there with your friends and relax. They will be stronger and cheaper than anything you find in town
Plus it will be a lot easier to get home.
There are many bars along the malecon. Start at Carlos and Charlies and work your way down. Try a margie at each bar and report back in when your
done.
Good Luck!

Ok...jus' my 2 cents...best margarita I've EVER had anywhere was/is in Mulege. It's in town. I never remember the name though (maybe one too many
Margies?). It's Las palmas or something. Where the old guy walks up and down the street. Anyone know who he is by the way? He seems somewhat of an
iconic figure there as I've seen him in pictures alot.

Adolfo of Mulege
Adolfo is a regular of the town square. Reputed to be as old as Methuselah...but at least 90 for sure. Used to be quite the man about town and a
real lady-killer. Played guitar and sang at the Hacienda inside bar 20 years ago when a young man in his 70's.
