Health

Hi all just a note, some of you nomads know i am on oxygen full time which kind of limited my baja travels.
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes just before christmas and was hospitalized fo 8 days.. seems that the type 2 has effected my eyes some what but doc says will get better, so looks like in future will only be going to san felipe for motel camping and fishing consag rock plus i have a question
what are the checkpoints going to do when i show up with a couple of dozen insulin needles and a bag of different pills . the act like i am carrying bombs when they see my ox bottles Jim

I did not have a problem at the checkpoint with my medical equipment (syringes, ampules, pills, etc....), just told them the facts - so far, NO Problem.!
O2 bottle - tell them it is for diving - that's more common, and less hassle.
my 2 cents

The truth... plus a letter from your doctor and perscriptions for the drugs (in their original bottles with your name on them, etc.) would be a wise move!
