California-Baja car rentals
Definitely a good experience renting from these folks.
None of the regular rental places would rent a large van, and I needed a big one since I was taking 11 people down for the weekend.
Good service, good vehicle, prices were o.k.
My only complaint- sure a long way out to Spring Valley from the airport or any other main tourist location, and they do not have a system for
delivery and drop-off.
Otherwise it is definitely on my recommended list!
And their rep., Kelly, was most accomodating as well.
Thanks!

I have personally used California-Baja in the past and had a good experience as well, but as you said bajarunner, the drive out there was the only
setback. A couple other options that we work with are ASAP Rent A Van and Sun Diego Car Rentals. Both rental agencies will deliver vehicles to the San
Diego airport or your preferred pickup location. The nice thing about the smaller private agencies is that you will almost always get better and more
personalized service than the big rental agencies.

California Baja, Rent-A-Car
Thanks Baja Runner, I'm glad you had a good trip. Also just so everyone knows,
very soon we will have shuttle service to our location from the Airport and neighboring hotels/motels.

Kelly, mi amiga....
now you tell me...
oh well, it was still all good.
thanks again
(never did confess how we locked the keys inside and got Mexican ingenuity to rescue the day, with nary a mark, nor a blemish, nor a sign of our
intentional felonious act upon your van- and I ain't tellin' any more)

Good to know Kell-Baja!
Let me know when you guys have the shuttle service going and we can probably send some business your way. We get a lot of requests for rental
information and we like to support the independent agencies.....

Any other rental companies??
Hi Everyone! I will be heading to La Bufadora with my family in April. I will be flying into San Diego and will need to rent a mini-van or station
wagon. I checked out the sites you guys mentioned but boy...they seem expensive! Are there any other alternatives that you know of?
Thanks!

Dollar rent-a-car at the San Diego airport. Mini-vans are $54 a day, and tack on the $25 a day for Mexican auto insurance
