Guano Slide on Asuncion Island???

Kids had to make their own fun in the old days here. Juan who's grandfather was the caretaker of the island, used to have a ball on the big slide used for loading sacs of guano onto the ships. They used a hollowed out turtle shell upside down to fly down the chute and into the ocean at high tide...that must have been crazy! I love imagining the screaming of his sisters as they hit the water! It would be cool to recreate this "ride" today....extreme sport!

My impression from your title was you literally had a landslide of bird poo from an earthquake or something. Now I understand.

Let's see, what other sea life likes to swim with seals?
