Baja Health Care stories, good bad & ugly (but hopefully not)

Hi Nomads,

If you wouldn´t mind sharing a health care in the Baja story -- or any related info of value for expats wanting to relocate to the Peninsula regarding health care or your experience with insurance, paying out of pocket expenses, etc. it would be greatly appreciated (just a few paragraphs of info is fine).

I am almost finished with an E-book:

Viva La Baja! The Complete Relocation Guide to Baja, Mexico for Families and Retirees

and need some expat experiences for health care section. The book is a comprehensive relocation guide, about 90 pages or so, covering topics such as renting or building a home, enrolling children in public or private schooling, health insurance & hospitals, environmental issues etc.

You can get an idea of the book by visiting www.vivalabaja.com but the site is a work in progress - will have it completed and E-book available for download by October 1st.

If interested please email info@vivalabaja.com.
Any story is of value and will be considered or added if possible.

I would appreciate it much! :):bounce::D Molly
