Looking for secure parking in Puertocitos

Hi there, some friends and I are planning to head down to Gonzaga Bay in November and watch the 1000 go by Coco's. We are looking for someplace secure to park a couple of vehicles in Puertocitos while we ride bikes and quads down to Gonzaga. Any info would be great. Thanks.

We are planning on leaving 1 Excursion with a trailer and maybe a pick up.

Mood: Anxious to get south

Your going to want to park your stuff at someones personal property for sure. You've got a while, someone will come up. Puertocitas is pretty quiet this time of year, well, pretty quiet all the time.

We're 25 miles north of Puertocitas if that helps come November. But there are many others here on this site that are further south than we are.

Be patiant.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

I'll try it again. I've been told to look for the mechanic or gringos at the market but would really like to try and make contact with someone before we take off.

Thanks in advance.

Try contacting Patty at www.cowpatty.net.
She knows a lot of people in town. Her good friend Richard lives there full time and runs the COWPATTY bar just north of town.

At the bottom of the home page there is a box that says contact Patty directly!

San Felipe is just 50 plus miles North.
Maybe you would have better luck in SF leaving your vehicles..

We have a lot of space at Bahia Cristina, 5 miles south of Puertecitos. You're welcome to park there if you want.

I appreciate the offer but would rather not tow the trailer down there unless we have too. Thanks again.

Okay. Try Benjiman's, there in Puertecitos. He's up behind the store and over a block. He stores boats for people and I'm sure he'll fit you in. He and his family are there all the time and it's about as secure as you will find without knowing someone down there.
