Mark your calendars, Saturday October 20th at the Tijuana Cultural Center there wil be an attempt to prepare the worlds biggest Caesar Salad for the Guinness Record.

The admision is only $3 dollars and entitles you to salad (they say all you can eat) and then they will also have a variety of other dishes prepared by Tijuanas best restaurants and they will have ticket sales starting at $1 dollar or ticket books of up to $10 dollars.

That occured to me. "Gus" is a stereotypical working mans name. Antiquated, not much used anymore. I'm kinda guessing but, it's a nickname for Gustaf, some of our German immigrant folks. Pronounced like "US", rather than "Goose."
