Not bad compared to WD 40

This is intent # 4 for us to broadcast and here is how it will work;
Every Morning starting tomorrow at 9:30AM PST (BAJA NORTE), 10:30AM MST (BAJA SUR) time we will be transmitting what will be the Ultimate Baja Radio Magazine. , Today I will do the final trial having the show at 2 PM PSTin this show I will be talking about news items that appear on the media, radio, tv and press in spanish that I'll be translating since some do not understand the language but still want to be informed. I will give reports on current news, rate of exchange, events, etc. This because of an idea of a fellow nomad, since the only major news sources for Baja California or Baja California Sur in english are periodicals that appear monthly.
The show will be one hour and will substitute the evening programs we had and will cover both north and south Baja California daily.
I appreciate your patience and hope to count on your continued support and I look forward to beeing a good source of information for you all. See you on the radio.
Saludos
Fernando

[This is a side note from MrsFDT: I just want to let everyone know we are still working on implementing the original show call in features. Dave from Primo Tapia lent us a great mixer to start with but were having tech issues with Skype and PC/ mixer hook up. So for the moment, No skype call in's.

As a note only;
While we do play music before, during and after the shows I must tell you that it is not Dolby or THX Surround Sound.

:lol::lol: I think that one is still in the works.

I was refering to WD-40—which stands for Water Displacement perfected on the 40th try.

FDT, are you having impedance matching problems between the mixer and your PC? Connector matching problems

I am only familiar with the 1202 VLZ but it has many optional outputs; XLR at +4 or -10 (balanced), 1/4 inch bal and unbalanced and RCA connectors at line level.

Ferna, you can use tape out. It's a RCA output and it should be easy to find a converter plug for your computer input.

Be advised, when using tape you have to engage the aux/tape bus button.

HA!!! I did that yesturday and it worked! BUT.... it stopped working and I couldnt figure out why. It was aux/tape button. I must have hit the button again playing around with the configuration and couldnt figure out why it stopped working. I scrapped the whole config and went to bed. Thanks for the tip, Ill try it again.

Tomorrow on the 9:30 show, im going to join Fernando on the show and ag him on. ..... I think he's boring. (SHHHH dont tell him I said that.) He needs a push to the darker side of funny. Caution: this may be an uncensored loose collar show.... Im not so restrained in my opinions and I dont wear a tie like he would to broadcast, :lol: Thank God... Ill still be in my PJ's pouring a pot of coffee down my throat.:?:

Ok maybe ive said to much about my beloved husband:saint:. But well, those of you who know him, know he's a strait arrow thats a little hard to bend one way or the other:biggrin:

Following FDT wherever the Baja wind takes him.... That is, if its going in the same direction I am.

In addition to Dave's instructions, be sure and plug the adapter from the mixer into the line level input on your PC's sound card. Most have a line in and a mic in.
