5 Useful Nomad Threads

Baja Nomad has been a valuable webpage since the demise of the Amigos de Baja board several years ago. Has it really been several? I have proposed a few useful Nomad threads that would boost the esteem of everyone here. They are:

1 - The "Inside" of Adelitas Bar, Tijuana. (Baja Photo Gallery)
2 - How to avoid being held-up, carjacked in and around Rosarito Beach. (General Baja Discussion)
3 - 10 of the best ways to kill the germs that cause "La Gripa" and "Montezuma". (Baja Restaurant Reviews)
4 - The "fastest" way to my money back after being jipped at the Santa Rosalia Pemex. (Suggestions Comments or Issues)
5 - 10 of the best phrases to get the Policia "Off of my back." (Spanish Language)

Okay, Nomads. Those with the most Baja Experience should start by responding and posting these threads right away. :bounce:

Grab the manager by the collar while yelling, calling him vile names in English and sputtering in his face in front of grinning customers.

Elapsed time: 49 sec. :bounce: Yahooooooo

Challenge: Beat my time!!!

I really think this is in poor taste and is a blight on the Baja landscape for all eternity. Wait - you are a blight. Something is blighted.

While assessing the talent in Adelitas line, one should be certain to observe the size of the adams apple in front of you. If its bigger than yours, keep moving or do the Crocodile Dundee double check. Probably best to keep moving...Sorry no pictures - What goes on the road stays on the road.

For number 5: Try the Spanish version of "Get off me pa your crushing my smokes".

This is truly in poor taste for the Family Channel environment here.

How to avoid trouble around Rosarito:

Buy a Clampett or Joad's type beater of a car, put a racing engine in it. Wear clothes usually seen on dumpster divers. Keep handy (on the seat next to you) several powerful water pistols filled with amonia and red Rit dye. Buy a bunch of old Ozark Daredevils tapes and play em as loud as the volumn knob will allow.
