Somehow it looked familiar... and then I realized it looks like our pet guinea pig (in the second photo).

Fugu (河豚;) is the Japanese word for pufferfish and is also a Japanese dish prepared from the meat of pufferfish (normally species of Takifugu, Lagocephalus, or Sphoeroides) or porcupinefish of the genus Diodon. Because pufferfish is lethally poisonous if prepared incorrectly, fugu has become one of the most celebrated and notorious dishes in Japanese cuisine.

It's probably a Guineafowl puffer fish in its golden phase.
Scientific name: Arothron meleagris
Spanish name: Botete Dorado

He's got the Corona colors going for him, that's for sure. Now we need a Tecate colored one.

Here's another one I pulled of Kira's site in case you didn't follow Taco's link. Again the animal features: young round face, drowsy eyes, and small ears. Reminds me of another pet but I can't put my finger on it yet.

Thanks Taco de Baja.

Amazing color change in that fish. It looks like Judy's fish has peaked out in the tranformation to yellow. It reminds me of the leopard grouper/golden grouper color change.

I'm not an expert but I think the things you guys are calling ears in reality are fins.

Not sure what they call the fish, but its liver, if eaten, will wipe out a small family reunion.:O
