I got stopped by the police in Mexicali yesterday...

as he blocked traffic on one of the busiest roads in town just so an old lady could get across the street safely. :saint:

I felt like getting his badge number.

Yep, it was actually pretty impressive. A motorcycle cop got off his bike and stopped traffic on a 6 lane road as he helped the woman across the street.

Boy...you just crack yourself up don't ya?

I wonder how funny it is to the people who have lost their wife, or father or their leg or their vehicle or their sanity?

Rdrr, that's about as irrelevant and disconnected as a post can get. You wanna pick a fight over nothing much, go to the Off-Topic forum.

rdr.....

It's your lucky day....I'm tired, so, why don't you take your nonsense down the avenue and quit bothering people who want to help each other?

Sometimes Nomads are joking... but since we can't hear their voice or see their facial expression, it isn't understood always as a joke and thus becomes offensive to some...

I suggest that when a joke (off color or otherwise) is told here... it be followed by one  or more :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: to clarify it as such...

Would that help???

Good suggestion, David. That little smiling, laughing thing doesn't mean much to me but, the one that pukes all over the place really makes a statement.:barf:
And the sunburned guy with the bad breath :fire:..what more can one say?

Did you hear the one about a blond driver being pulled over by a blond cop?

The cop asked to see her license, but the driver didn't know what that was...

The cop said it is a square thing with your picture on it...

The blond driver found a small mirror in her purse and seeing her image on it, gave it to the blond cop...

The cop looked at it and said "No, you dummy, I said with YOUR picture on it!!!":lol::lol::lol:

From my point of view, humor is welcome here and sarcasm too. Some are better at it than others, but I think Mango' was pretty clear....and appreciated by me. Of course, many topics are serious too, and deserve our earnest input; give and take.

What I dislike are people who seem to always be in the attack mode. That is offensive and it puts people on the defensive. The attackers have that agenda. They say, but don't really mean, that they want a debate. When we have to defend our humor or our position in conversation, you are not getting the best of what we have to offer. It is a conversation. We can all learn something. But that is not what you attackers want anyway, is it? BajaNomad provides a place for attackers: OFF TOPIC.

Baja is a wonderful place in spite of its blemishes. Let's celebrate it. That is the affinity here. Stay positive, please.

I didn't know you could say **** here. What a blight on the perfectly right and mostly white (landscape was it?). I'm speachless, stunned - mostly amused. I'm sure someone or a whole group of someones will be offended or upended or ****** off. Can I say ****** off?

Kudos to old ladys everywhere and moto cops too. What a glorious day!
