Not all is bad news

I wont post a link because its in Spanish, but this morning members of the Army Special Forces captured 20 Arellano Felix gunmen along with 8 Tijuana Police officers in a raid in a ranch outside of Tijuana.

In other news, the Mexican supreme court cleared the way for the deportation to the US of several Arellano Felix bosses who are in prison by denying their last appeal.

And finally, the federal goverment has picked an island in the Pacific to create the new federal maximum security prison for narcotraffickers. Expecting that this move will cripple the communications the jailed bosses have with their cartels.

More good news, in the raid, they captured Teodoro Garcia Simental " El Teo", one of the most violent bosses in the cartel, and responsible for most of the kidnappings, cop killings, and assasinations we have seen in the past year. He was arrested along with his top two capos.

Nobody likes what these dirtbags have been doing to the people in Mexico and tourist coming to Mexico. As with anything until you fight fire with fire it only gets worst. This Special Forces Unit that Mexico is using let's hope they keep them going in the right direction and not like the "Zetas." Mexico is just on the verge of getting this thing pointed in the right direction. Later--------------------- bajafun777

It's about time we get some good news. I just hope itis not an article published by Tourism Baja, to turn the opinion-tide around. As for the Toyotas, that's quick action. Good work for a change.

this sounds good-hope it continues! about the island, sounds like it would be an easy target for a well funded drug lord.a couple of boats full of buddies with auto weapons could invade and the prison staff would have no immediate help nearby....hmmm, sounds like an action movie in the making.....:D
