Merry Christmas Y'all

Thought this was a good one to start December :biggrin:

Remember this motto to live by:

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Captain Morgan in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO what a ride!'

Most Important Tip of all: Have a great holiday season!
"MERRY CHRISTMAS"
&
"HAPPY NEW YEAR" :yes::yes::bounce::bounce::biggrin::biggrin:

OK, I'll go with the flow and once again bring out the classic Christmas tale first told two years ago by Lizard Lips. It has become a Christmas tradition in our home.

The Weeweechu

One beautiful December evening, Pedro and and his girlfriend Rosita, were sitting on the sand in Punta Banda. It was so romantic with a full moon. Pedro said, "Mamacita, lets play Weeweechu".

"Oh no, not now, Pedro. Lets just look at the moon," said Rosita.

"Oh c'mon baby. Lets you and I play Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon," said Rosita.

"Please corazoncita. Just once, play Weeweechu with me right here."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK. This one time, we'll play Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar, began to strum it, and they both sang...........

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas..... Weeweechu a Merry Christmas.....Weeweechu a Merry Christmas.....and a Happy New Year."

Merriest of Holidays to everyone. I don't think it's ever too early to celebrate the season. Tomorrow morning Cora and I are starting our new Christmas job. We are the Salvation Army bell ringers on MWF during the month of December at our local grocery store. I have a Mrs. Claus suit that I am going to wear and Cora will be my reindeer. She's not too thrilled with the job.

Merry Christmas!

Rock on with your Bad Self, Cora! That is classic, P...

P.S...see how Cora's eyes reflect green? When you shine your flashlight around at night here in the desert and see those orange-ish eyes out there, those are almost always coyotes.

Mia,
I've seen many glowing orange eyes at our trailers, but I didn't know that they reflected differently from our domesticated dogs. Interesting fact.

After seeing that second photo of Cora's reindeer hat I made a few alterations. It was too Sister Batrille for me, so I trimmed down the back. Her collar matches my Mrs. Claus apron. Dern is telling me that he's taking the camera to document us tomorrow. Depending on how it turns out, you may see more photos.

Another on topic Christmas question, what about the cutting the Century plants for a tree? Is that a totally lost tradition now?

It is doubtful that any of us will even arrive at Christmas in "an attractive and well preserved body". I prefer to "skid in sideways".

So........right back at you, Vandy and everybody. Merry Merry, Happy Happy and Woo Hoo! :bounce:

Enjoyed your trip, Van, but I'm not quite ready for Christmas yet.

See how Cora's eyes reflect, "Oh MY GOD. Is it that time of year again? Don't say anything. It'll be over in a few minutes."
