Need Propane Fridge - Urgent

We have been looking for a propane fridge in the La Paz area and can't find one anywhere. Does anyone out there have one for sale or know where we can buy one? We need it urgently as power is months away and we move into the new casita in two weeks. Thanks.

Pompano has the right info. Chuck Smuck at Wahoo RV sells and services propane fridges. Am in the states so do not have his number. Maybe a Nomad in San Jose or Cabo can post his phone number.

Funny story about Chuck Smuck. Years ago someone asked him if he had ever thought about changing his name.......after thinking about it he said, "I like the name Chuck"

I guess as long as it is not Smucker or Schmuck he'll keep it. I'd lose the Chuck though.:lol:

there's a solar store off Foredores (spelling) that carried propane chest type freezers/friges, as well as panels. I don't recall the name or street. one block to right going out... I could drive there but can't remember any landmarks. surely someone in La Paz knows it?

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Thanks so much for all the help! Chuck at Wahoo does indeed sell propane fridges. They are smallish, bur adequate, and cost $1,300 US. We are heading down to get one asap.

Just for information, the solar store off Forjadores moved to 5 de Febrero by the cathedral. They no longer carry propane appliances, just solar and wind gen stuff.

There is also a place in Ensenada that sells bigger ones, but we didn't want to do the drive.

Thanks again.
