For anyone driving to Baja / Solo or otherwise.

GO THROUGH TECATE!!!!!!

First night stop at the Los Ciros Motel in San Qunitin: Fair Prices, security, Walled and Protected by some fine Folks.

Second Day go all the way to Loreto or Stop in GN an stay at the Mallimarino.
Loreto: There are several good places; Depends on your Budget;

La Paz: I like the Marina Hotel East of Downtown; Fair Prices and Secure.

While driving do so in the Daylight. My wife and I always left San Quintin just at Daylight.
We always had our Black Lab with us and never ever had any difficulty,

Try to learn and Speak Slang/Field Spanish at the Controlled Stops.

Have a Good Trip, smile, and be Courteous.

Van; Been in the "Old Folks" Law School for sometime Now!

Seriously, I have been looking for Part Time Work here.

Maybe I should start a Service helping people "Safely" buying Property in Baja Sur.
For a Fee I would gather all Papers necessary, Check the Titles, and give Advice on a good or Bad Deal. I bought and Sold at least 18 Properties while in Loreto and Never, Never had any problems.
It might be a good Service to the New People coming in and not knowing the Ropes.

Might save a lot of time and Money for those that do not have the Contacts and Time to do what is necessary for Proper Research.

Seems all the Good Jobs up here require mutlple Computer Skills.

Doen"t anyone talk Face to Face Anymore???

kIMBERLEE:
Yes Ole Skeet know that to be successful in Baja Sur that you have all the Proper Documents, know the right Contacts and Abide by their Laws/ Still have my Corportation.
I learned many years ago that I did not have to "Lie, Cheat, nor Steal to be a Success in Life. One of the reasons the Mexican People trusted me to buy their Property{They did not Trust the American and Canadian} to give them a Fair Price. I then inturn sold to the Americans and Canadians at a Fair Price.
All Papers were proper, all titles were Clear.

Just remember "Never Buy Ejido Property".

djh,
You didn't include a comment with this quote, but could I safely assume that you're indicating that a "FAIR " amount of profit was included in the transfer of those properties , with Skeet as " The Middleman ":?::biggrin:
