Thanks for the link....very interesting interview......although the reporter did make one strange statement... he said that US police are not attacked because they are respected... I think he should have added that they are not attacked because they are formidable in their response and the death penalty in involked in the killing of a police officer, something which is not done in Mexico.

Do you think Torres has what it takes to put a dent in the cartel infighting in Rosirito ? He seems to blame everything on that and not on the abject corruption of the Rosirito police which has been going on for scores of years that I can recall. Just a thought.

I wish him luck.

I had to chuckle also, didn't we go through the cabron thing about six months ago.... it can be friendly or perjorative, depending on the delivery.... I am going to accept this as the friendly one.

Has a wonderful sense of humor................The Mayor.....really not sure at this point.........the goal right now is to stop the bleeding (no pun intended) from the merchants and common man in Baja......cause the lack of tourists it killing them.
