You sure Susan didn't steam up your glasses
Clear as a bell here in Loreto with the wind coming up.

Yikes, after such a lovely sunny day yesterday, we were surprised to wake up to rain this morning and it is really windy and raining off and on...the
flowers will love it.

Fog on the gulf is really weird... Happens even when it's warm and nice. I remember the first gulf fog I experienced in San Felipe in 1974.

Before most people knew it was there, we used the brand new mile long San Felipe airport runway as a short cut to the beach... This photo was in
April, 1974 showing the fog:

Warming land and cool water is what usually makes fog in the Sea.
Kinda early for it, though. Usually more common in April/May/June.
Must be more proof of global warming.

It is fairly common at this time of the year here. Last year I was on the way to Tortuga Island and went the whole way in fog. I knew where I was at
but I did worry a little about the pangueros who had no GPS or compass.
Today was that way and when we broke out at the north end of San Marcos Island it was absolutely beautiful and the fish were biting too.

Reporting from Pacific Coast west of La Paz - IT'S FREEZING!! Sunny but with a BRISK NW wind coming off the rapidly-cooling sea . .. Hasn't gone above
65F all day.

Very cold, unstable air in SoCal today. Several cells formed east of the coast and some dropped significant rain. .40-.60 inches reported in various
locations in the mountains of SD.
Weather Service caught napping again............no predictions of precip today.
