Road to Punta Banda/Bufadora

We had heard the road to Punta Banda and Bufadora was closed again last week. Does anyone know why? Was there another mudslide?

I live in La Jolla Beach Camp on the road to La Bufadora and I am not aware of the road being closed. We did have rain and some mud did get on the road but not to a point of closing it.

Wide open when we came home today...if you haven't been on this road for awhile watch out for the 4 new speed bumps that are poorly marked!

Thanks. We were there the month of December right after the last slides and had heard from friends coming back from Cabo that the road was closed again. Glad to hear all is well. So sad to see the December slides.

It was closed briefly after a hard rain a couple of weeks ago. It was quickly cleared and open.
There's a stop sign right in front of Sharkys with an arrow pointing to the parking lot. I've mentioned this to others but, it seems I'm the only one who sees it. If you see it as I do, I'll probably see you there.

So, Dennis-- describe the likely vehicle of yours to be parked there...wasn't there when we went by today but I think your neighbor was there. At least put a BAJANOMAD sticker on your truck! I have extras if you need one

Been there and gone.
I shouldn't make it sound as though I live there. Maybe once every three days for three or four c-cktails, then I'm gone. I get there early just to get it over with. It's a functional self-medication thing.
So...It sounds as though you ran the stop sign. How was your trip? Sheri mentioned you dropped in for tea.

Well, since NOT one of you can spell SHARI we must be talking about 2 different people; and when we "dropped in" it was for "Tea" in a bag (water boiled and poured into tea pot with tea bag for Bajamigo)...I finished off my day-old coca-light....oh, but now we are getting into hi-jacking a thread! Forget it!!!! You all have to wait for the trip report(s)!.

I meant Shari. The E and the A are too close together on this thing.

Hijack? How much can you say about a closed road that's open?

Yeah! You and others...and the ones we ordered! BUT, I believe your truck remains NAKED of a nomad sticker...

Should have! Tore up those sturdy plastic air dams on the front of the VUE. Between hitting the mud rather hard in San Quintin and a few pebbles on the road to the laguna at San Ignacio, our front end is slightly customized.
