Ensenada Card

For Nomads who travel to, drive through, eat in, sleep in, play in or visit Ensenada:

The Ensenada Tourism board is now offering a card for discounts at a variety of hotels, restaurants, retail stores and services. The card only costs $12 and is good until the end of November 2010. Baja Bound has set up a online store so you can buy the card and have it shipped directly to you. For a list of participating businesses and more info, visit our Ensenada Card page or the Ensenada Tourism Board website.

Why would anybody buy a cupon card? Doesn't that offset the savings of the discounted item? Why don't the purveyors just lower their prices for everybody? Why don't they openly compete for the lowest price to attract customers? Why don't they establish the lowest price tolarable to maintain a business, then offer a cupon to draw customers into their store?
Why would anybody want to spend money to save money?

Dennis, spell check!!(cupon?)Oh heck, just needed someone to hassle before many long days in the hospital! It may be a good idea IF people are planning on driving to/visiting Ensenada and staying in the motels/hotels there any time between now and 2010.

Hey Bajaguy,

Unfortunately, all of the cards that we have are located at the company that handles the shipping. Did you want just one?
